This policy explains what LyfeRadio processes, why it is needed, how long it is retained, and the controls available to listeners.
Information you provide
Registration stores your username, display name, email address, password hash, and the Terms and Privacy versions you accepted with their acceptance time. Optional profile fields may include a biography, status, country, timezone, favorite genre, avatar, and banner.
Account and community activity
Depending on your choices, LyfeRadio processes favorites, friendships, notification preferences, profile visibility, recent presence, and listening activity. Privacy settings control which profile and listening details other users may see. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes.
Why information is processed
Account and playback data is used to provide requested features, secure sign-in, remember preferences, enforce community rules, diagnose failures, and understand whether station services are operating correctly. Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service you request, your choices or consent, legitimate security and operational interests, and legal obligations.
Listening display
The listener number shown in the public player is a simulated presentation count rather than measured audience analytics. Signed-in listening activity is processed separately only when a listener leaves activity tracking enabled.
Security and operational data
Short-lived, keyed hashes derived from login identifiers and network addresses are used to limit abuse without storing raw addresses in the login-attempt table. Privacy-scrubbed application errors, job status, and audit events help operate and secure the station.
Retention
Login attempts are normally retained for 2 days; closed listening sessions and operational job records for 90 days; import logs for 180 days; and administrative audit logs for 365 days. Cleared notifications are removed after 90 days. Account and consent records remain while the account exists or as required for legitimate legal and security purposes.
Your choices
You can change profile and activity visibility, disable listening tracking, clear listening history, and update account information from Settings. To request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy right available in your jurisdiction, email contact@lyferadio.com.
Sharing and transfers
LyfeRadio does not sell listener personal data. Data is disclosed only to service providers needed to host and secure the service, when you make information public, or when legally required.
Security
Measures include password hashing, CSRF protection, secure production cookies, access controls, rate limiting, privacy-scrubbed logs, and restricted private-media delivery. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so listeners should use a unique password and report suspected compromise promptly.
International access and children
The station may be accessed from different countries, and hosting or technical providers may process information where they operate subject to appropriate safeguards. LyfeRadio is not directed at children who cannot legally consent to an online account in their jurisdiction.

The version and effective date appear above. Material changes will be published here and may require renewed acceptance for account features.
